This Privacy Policy describes how Repwell ("We", "Us", "Our") collects, uses, and discloses Your information when You use the Repwell mobile application (the "Service"), and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You. Repwell is operated by Arunakumar Tavva, an individual developer based in the United Arab Emirates.

AI-Powered Coaching: Repwell offers an optional AI coach powered by Anthropic Claude. The AI coach is off by default and only becomes active after You explicitly grant consent inside the app (Settings → Privacy → AI coach). When enabled, the text of your coaching messages and minimal related workout context are securely transmitted to Anthropic for processing so the coach can respond. No images are sent. Anthropic does not sell your data and does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings, which stops all further transmission. Interpretation and Definitions

Account — a unique account created for You to access the Service.
Application / Service — Repwell, the iOS mobile app.
Company ("We", "Us", "Our") — Arunakumar Tavva, operating Repwell.
Country — United Arab Emirates.
Device — any device used to access the Service (phone, tablet).
Personal Data — any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service Provider — third-party companies that process data on Our behalf.
You — the individual accessing or using the Service.

Personal Data We Collect

While using Our Service, We collect the following information that You provide:

Email address — used to create and secure your account.
Display name — optional, shown in the app.
Fitness profile & activity data — your training goal, fitness level, weekly target, workout plans, logged workouts, exercise sets (weights and repetitions), streaks, achievements, in-app preferences (units, theme), and reminder schedule.
AI coach messages — only if You enable the AI coach: the text You send to the coach.

Data We Do Not Collect

Repwell does not access your camera or photo library, does not collect your location, does not collect biometric data (any Face ID / Touch ID use stays on your device), does not contain advertising, does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not track You across other apps or websites.

Automatically Processed Information

When the app communicates with Our backend, Our hosting providers may process standard technical information such as your IP address transiently in server logs for security and reliability. This is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

How We Use Your Data

To provide the Service — account management, cloud sync of your workouts and plans across sessions.
To deliver AI coaching — only when You have enabled it.
To send transactional emails — e.g. password reset and security notices (via Supabase).
To keep the Service secure — authentication and abuse prevention.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Payments

This version of Repwell is free and contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Data Retention

Account & fitness data — retained for as long as your account is active.
AI coach messages — retained to provide your chat history until you delete your account.
On account deletion, your data is permanently removed (see below).

Delete Your Data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly inside the app:

Settings → Delete account

This immediately removes your account from our authentication system and deletes all stored data (workouts, plans, logs, coach messages). You may also email arunakumariphone6@gmail.com to request deletion.

Children's Privacy

Repwell is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If You are a California resident, You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise these rights, contact Us at arunakumariphone6@gmail.com; we will respond within 45 days.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, row-level security in our database, and secure token-based authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
